Our magnetic tape tracking sensors allow detection and monitoring of lateral position in relation to magnetically charged tape. The relative position is represented by an analog voltage range of 1V at the far-left edge of the tape, and 10V at the right. The sensor's analog output allows for precise position indication while its digital output offers an additional layer of information and safety if the tape cannot be detected.
